Hey guys,
I hope you're well. Unfortunatly summer is now officially over :( On the upside, autumn is here which means cosy jumpers, lots of coffee and makeup which doesn't melt straight off your face.
I'm here today to show you my everyday glam makeup routine. I'd like to point out that I don't wear this much makeup every single day, more like on my days off when I want to look extra nice.
I hope you enjoy.
Base
I'm starting off with a clean and moisturized face.
Then, I dot the Ultra Strobing Cream by Makeup Revolution all over my face and blend it in with my fingers to act as a radiant base.
Next, I dot the L'Oreal Infallible 24H Matte Foundation in Porcelain and blend it in with a rounded dense synthetic brush.
I then apply the Collection Lasting Finish concealer in Fair under my eyes in a triangle shape to brighten that area and pat it in with my fingers.
To cover any other imperfections, I apply the Catrice Camouflage Cream in Ivory over them and pat it onto them with my finger.
I then set my face with the NYX Studio Finish Powder in Transparent with a fluffy brush. This is a very mattifying powder so I use a small amount
Contour
To contour I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in Light Medium.
I start off by contouring my cheekbones, nose and jaw line with the Zoeva 109 Luxe Face Paint brush and the shade Fawn (cool brown) from the palette.
To bronze my forehead and and tops of my cheeks I use the shade Java with a rounded angled synthetic brush.
To further brighten the under eye area I use the Banana and Vanilla shades with a pointed synthetic brush. I apply this over the triangle area where I applied my concealer.
For blush, I use a straight angled synthetic brush and a Bourjois Je T'aime blush in 74 Rose Amber (dusty pink). I apply this to the apples of my cheeks.
For hightlight I used the Blushing Hearts highlighter in Iced Hearts by I <3 Makeup with a fluffy blending brush. I applied this over the tops of my cheekbones and bridge of my nose.
Brows
To fill in my brows (aka draw them on) I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade in Medium Brown. I use the Zoeva 317 Winged Liner brush to do this. I start off by drawing a line along the bottom of my brows starting at the front up to the arch. I then draw a second line from the arch to the end. I then repeat this at the top and then I just soften the top part of the arch as my natural brows are very angular and my arch is earlier then it should be. To finish off, I to small strokes in-between the lines and fill in the front by drawing the lines upwards.
Eyes
To brighten my water line ( I did not get much sleep) I use the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.
For my shadows I use the I <3 Makeup palette in Naked Chocolate.
I start off by mattifying and brightening my arch with the shade Smoothly (pale nude shade). This will help me blend out later shades.
I then used the shade Tob-le-rone (like the chocolate?)(pale cool brown) as my transition shade in my crease. I blended it in with the MAC 217 brush.
Then, I blend the shade Sweet Shop (warm, chocolate-y brown) into the crease with the Zoeva 228 Crease brush. I also blended this shade along my lower lash line.
Then, with a small blending brush I darkened the outer corner with the shade Choc-fest ( dark, red-y brown). I then went over the crease again with the shade Sweet Shop Again.
On my lid, I applied the shade Double Dip (gold shade) with a flat synthetic brush.
To brighten the inner corner, I used the shade adorable (awww) and a small flat brush.
Finished shadows
For my winged liner I use the Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner in 001 Black.
For my lashed I used the Yves Saint Laurent Faux Cils Volume Effect Mascara in Black.
Lips
For my lips I used the Kylie Cosmetics Lipkit from her Birthday Collection in Leo. I first used the lipliner to draw around my lips and then I filled in my lips with the liquid lipstick.
